Conversation for Social Interaction (CoSI)

Access our Conversation for Social Interaction (CoSI) programme and resources

You can access and use our CoSI programme and materials free of charge if you register a few details with us so that we can report on impact to our funder, the Nuffield Foundation.

We will not share your contact or other details with any third parties.

We ask for your name, email address and location because our funder and universities require us to demonstrate the breadth and depth of how our programme has impacted schools and children. To this end, we would like to email you once per year to ask you a few brief questions about if and how you used our programme and / or materials. We will not share your details with any third parties.

ONCE YOU HAVE REGISTERED

After you have registered, you will receive an email with your username and password. To access our programme and materials, click on the ‘Login‘ tab (where you can also opt to reset your password to a more memorable one, if you wish).

We are extremely pleased that teachers wish to use our programme! We allow Educational Professionals to use our programme and materials for free on the understanding that we will email you annually to ask how you have used our resources, capture feedback on any outcomes, as well as suggestions for improvements.

Our other key provisos are that you agree not to use the CoSI programme and resources to make a profit and you will not share the programme and materials with other teachers and schools. Instead, we ask that you refer other teachers to register on our website, as you have done, so that we can demonstrate breadth of impact.

We are keen to collaborate on future research which includes elements of the CoSI programme or its materials. If you would like to do this, please contact us first to discuss how we might work together on this.

Any publications using any elements of this programme, including conceptualisation, must acknowledge our intellectual contribution.

If you wish to translate or adapt the programme or resources for other languages, you would need to come to us to discuss how to make this possible. We would also require copies of any reports and publications resulting from this work.

Our other key proviso is that you agree not to use the CoSI programme and resources – nor any adapted versions – in order to make a profit. In addition, we ask that you do not share our programme and materials with other researchers. Instead, we ask that you refer others to us.

We are extremely pleased that you are interested in our programme! We grant a free license to utilise the materials for a one-year period (the Term). The licence can be renewed annually and allows users to utilise the materials in an educational or clinical setting in a not-for-profit capacity (the Project).

Please note that by registering to access our CoSI programme and resources, you are acknowledging that they are under copyright. That is you are agreeing that you will not use the CoSI programme and resources in order to make a profit. (This also applies if you amend the materials or programme in some way). It also means that you are agreeing that you will not share the programme and materials with others; instead, we ask that you refer others to register on our website, as you have done, so that we can demonstrate breadth of impact.

If you wish to translate or adapt the programme or resources for other languages, you would need to come to us to discuss how to make this possible. We would also require copies of any reports and publications resulting from this work.
